Happy New Years Eve!

I woke up this morning and groggily looked at my e-mails. I saw that WordPress, the site that hosts my blog, had compiled stats from the past year.

It was so interesting to learn that in 2012, I got a total of 2800 hits! Also, people from !!!64!!! countries have stumbled upon my blog. Canada was no.1 and the USA and Philippines were not far behind.

My number 1 post of all time was: Fair Food – Deep Fried Oreos. San Gennaro Deep Fried

The second most popular was Roast Chicken with baby vegetables – by Gordon Ramsay. Chickenhttp://stephaniemormina.com/2012/08/16/roast-chicken-with-baby-vegetables-by-gordon-ramsay/

The third most popular, and my personal favorite, was my review of  Le Lab, Comptoir à Cocktails.

My biggest single day was our recent snow-day, December 27th when I posted “Falsi-fried Chicken drumsticks” and “Restaurant L’Express”, with 78 views.  No surprise, the city was immobilized. What else can you do?? Chicken Drumsticks

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,800 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 5 years to get that many views.
